Towmaster Participated In The 63rd Annual Red Rooster Days

Towmaster team members and family members participated in the 63rd Annual Red Rooster Days Grande Day Parade in Dassel, Minnesota. The Towmaster float passed thousands of people on the route. Proceeds from the festival are returned to the community. In the past, the festival has contributed to the Public Library, Community Cemetery and the resurfacing of the Highway 12 Bike Trail.

Red Rooster DaysThe 4-day festival features fun for the whole family. There was a 4-H petting zoo, cornhole tournament, bouncy houses, golden egg hunt, games and food trucks. The weekend also included 7-mile and 18-mile bike rides, a classic car show,  and a firework show at Spring Lake Park.

Most famously, Red Rooster Days is known for their yearly barbeque chicken dinner served on Monday. The BBQ is touted as the “largest chicken barbeque in the state of Minnesota.” Thousands of hungry festival goers enjoy BBQ chicken with potato salad, coleslaw, bread, milk and coffee served outdoors at Dassel Ball Park. An ice-cream social followed the meal.
