Towmaster Trailers was proud to recently sponsor and participate in the 14th Annual Meeker Memorial Hospital Golf Fundraiser. Each year, the Meeker Memorial Hospital holds a fundraiser at the Litchfield Golf Club, located on the shores of Lake Ripley in Litchfield, MN. Area businesses and individuals can register to participate, or even sponsor a portion of the game. All the proceeds from the event goes to the Meeker Memorial Foundation.
The Meeker Memorial Foundation was established in 2005 with the sole purpose of connecting donors, community members, and philanthropic resources to advance health, wellness and healthcare in Meeker County. Since they started, the organization has raised over $2 million dollars and have used the funds to:
- Upgrade MMH’s Specialty and Oncology Clinics
- Upgrade Equipment for MMH’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program
- Purchase a new MIST Therapy machine
- Establish Employee Scholarship Funds
- Brought 3D mammography to Meeker Memorial Hospital
The Towmaster team sponsored the 18th hole of the course. Towmaster team members Al Ruter, Jim Colber and Jeremy Doyal represented team Towmaster and participated in the day-long event.
